**Job Title: Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform repairs and preventive maintenance on food processing equipment. Your responsibilities will include mechanical and electrical repairs, breaking down machinery for cleaning, and starting up machinery. You will work within a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for preventative maintenance and work orders. Troubleshooting will be limited as the machines do not run at night.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on food processing equipment.
+ Conduct preventive maintenance on machinery.
+ Break down machinery for cleaning and facilitate machinery startup.
+ Utilize CMMS for preventative maintenance and work orders.
+ Limited troubleshooting of machinery.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience with pneumatics, power transmission, pulleys, chains, sprockets, drives, motors, and conveyors.
+ Familiarity with control voltage; 24V and up to 480V three-phase electrical systems.
+ Ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery.
+ Knowledge of blueprints, schematics, and general mechanical principles.
+ Understanding of hydraulics and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Prior maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
+ Experience with PLCs, VFDs, and electrical systems.

**Work Environment**
This role is based in a food manufacturing plant where you will need to follow GMPs daily. The facility is refrigerated. We have one opening on the 1st shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM), two openings on the 2nd shift (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM), and two openings on the 3rd shift (10:00 PM - 6:30 AM). Gowns and steel-toed boots will be provided, along with basic and specialty tools. If you prefer to bring your own basic tools, you are welcome to do so. Orientation and GMP training will be provided on the first day, typically starting at 8 AM or 9 AM on Monday.
