Responsibilities Follow established plant wide and department safety rules as well as all GMP, SQF, SOP and Work Instruction guidelinesReport any safety concerns or problems to Group LeaderAbility to perform all duties associated with Technician B and C job responsibilitiesTroubleshoot and repair injection molding machines and accessory support equipment.Perform hydraulic repairs including cylinders and componentsPerform electrical repairs up to 3 phase 480 voltsMake necessary plumbing and electrical connections and disconnections needed for molding machines and accessory support equipmentClean machine and surrounding area after repairsSafely operate forkliftSafely operate hand held tools, bench grinders and power toolsMaintain maintenance work area and tools in clean orderly mannerComplete preventative maintenance checks and use computer software to enter, update and close work ordersNotify Group Leader of replacement parts needed Perform any and all job assignments employee has been trained to do. Qualifications High School diploma, GED equivalent requiredVocational Education and/or Training that includes machine repair and industrial electricityThree to five years’ experience working on machinery and equipment in an industrial maintenance environmentAbility to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, prints, procedure manuals and diagramsAbility to perform basic math functions and apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.Must have the ability to identify and correct problemsMust have tools required for jobMust successfully complete the forklift training and certification process and maintain license.Must successfully complete Arc Flash training

PHYSICAL ATTRIBUTES

Must be able to stand for continuously for 12 hoursLift 45+ lbs. repeatedly throughout during shift Twist / Turn repeatedly throughout during shiftBending/ Stooping / Kneel repeatedly throughout during shift Pushing/ Pulling/ Reaching repeatedly during shift Carrying 45+ lbs. repeatedly during shiftMust be able to wear all required Personal protective equipment (PPE) continuously during shift. Must be able to climb ladders, maneuver in, under and between tight spaces without risk of alterations in consciousnessMust be able to work at heights (with or without fall protection) and not be at risk of sudden alterations in consciousness

Days

Starts at 6:50 a.m., Ends at 7 p.m.

2 day on / 2 day off rotational schedule

Every other weekend

 

Nights 

Starts at 6:50 p.m. Ends at 7 a.m.
