Maintenance Technician - Direct Placement

Multiple shifts availableSpring Lake, MI$25-$30/hr+ (based off experience)

Job Description:

This person will be troubleshooting, repairing, and PM work on all equipment and machinery. Seeking someone who is able to perform highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machinery, facility equipment, and physical structures according to safety and preventive maintenance systems and processes. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Installs new production machinery and equipmentVisually inspects and listens to machines and equipment to locate causes of malfunctionsDiagnoses problems, replaces or repairs parts, tests, and adjustsDetects faulty operations, defective materials or/or equipment and reports as requiredDismantles machines and equipment to gain access to problem areaInspects and measures parts to detect wear, misalignment, or other problemsProvides emergency service and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs to production equipment during machine serviceStarts machines and equipment to test operation following repairRepairs broken parts, replaces defective parts and motors, belts, and adjusts feed mechanismsConnects wire to motors, fixtures, and other electrical equipment, replaces switches and fuses, and splices wire and insulates wire with friction tapePerforms regular preventative maintenance on machines and equipmentPatches or replaces plaster/plaster board and paints walls, ceilings, and trim of buildingsClears clogged drains and replaces plumbing fixturesCleans work areas, tools, and equipmentRemoves dirt, dust, grease, and waste material from machinesCleans and lubricates machine parts

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Must have at least 2+ years of industrial machine repair troubleshootingMust have own tools
