We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our client, a leader in quality paint applicators located in San Fernando, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities maintenance, mechanical knowledge, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

Inspect and identify equipment or machines in need of repair.Troubleshoot issues to determine necessary repairs.Plan repair work using building blueprints or equipment manuals as needed.Perform general repairs that do not require a specialized technician, such as repairing drywall, painting, and fixing doors and other building fixtures.Conduct routine maintenance on building systems.Clean and assist with the upkeep of the facilities.Order supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.Perform other related duties as assigned.

Experience:

Ability to understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions.Must be flexible and reliable.Work well independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.Maintain the production pace of other team members.Demonstrate prompt and regular attendance.Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers.Knowledge of general carpentry and repair.Proficient in using hand tools and power tools.Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Pay Rate and Shift:

Monday-Friday7:00 AM - 3:30 PM$18.00
