Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a Maintenance Technicians- Night Shift for our First Quality Tissue plant.  This position will be located in Lock Haven, PA. This position will be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining production and any associated equipment to ensure highest reliability, proper line performance, and safe operation and coordinating PM programs. This position will train on days and then be assigned to a 12-hour night shift.

Position Requirements:

Observes all safety rules and uses the proper safety equipment at all times.Follows necessary GMP, FDA, and ISO regulations.Repairs all mechanical components of all equipment as required.Troubleshoots and analyzes mechanical and operational issues on all equipment and takes required corrective action to resolve these issues.Operates all machines so that repairs can be tested when completed.Assists with preventive maintenance and changeovers when instructed to do so.Maintains a clean and orderly work area.Performs preventive maintenance checks and inspections of assigned equipment and reports findings to the Supervisor or the preventive maintenance crew.Shares knowledge and techniques with team members and assists with training.Attends all training seminars provided by the company when applicable.Completes all paperwork accurately and submits in a timely manner.Performs all other assigned duties when necessary.

Experience Required:

Has excellent safety and attendance performance, i.e. no corrective action or warningsConsistently follows all known and understood plant policies, i.e. break times, clothing and jewelry policyCompletes all required LMS training and safety audits without promptingAbility to work in a team-oriented environmentHas demonstrated competent troubleshooting skills, i.e. can independently resolve, identify and explain most process problems on their equipmentAbility to perform various lubrication routes.General knowledge of CMMS.Ability to operate hand and power tools, and all measuring tools such as micrometers, vernier calipers, etc.Ability to operate various pieces of equipment such as forklifts, Genie boom lifts, and scissor liftsAbility to read blueprints
