Job Summary –

The Maintenance Technician is an experienced self-starter with strong problem-solving and repair skills. This technician will be able to maintain, diagnose and repair manufacturing and facility equipment.

Primary Responsibilities –

Support safe work practices and 5SInstall and maintain a wide variety of equipment from complex automated machines to manually operated machines and toolsUse technical drawings, maintenance manuals and equipment phone support to diagnose and repair machines and equipmentPerform factory equipment moves and installation activitiesPerform preventative maintenance of assigned machines and equipmentPerform other duties as assigned         

Qualifications –

2+ years maintenance technician experience in a manufacturing environment requiredKnowledge of pneumatic systems such as resin pumps preferredMust possess strong analytical and troubleshooting skillsMust be a self-starter and be detail orientedMust have good computer skillsAble to work independently with little supervisionAble to communicate effectively and in a professional manner with all functional areas in the facilityFlexibility for overtime, including some weekends, as needed (often tied to production schedule)

 

Physical Requirements – Frequent standing and lifting of heavy objects weighing 50 to 100 pounds. Frequent walking, pushing, pulling, reaching, squatting, kneeling, stair climbing, and using fine hand movements such as tightening screws, bolts, and securing pins. Vision requirements include close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus. Environmental demands include working both indoors and outdoors and is seasonally exposed to extreme temperatures.

Travel Requirements – 0% - 5%
