Maintenance Technician
Cherokee Town & Country Club in Sandy Springs, GA is seeking to hire a full-time HVAC/Maintenance Technician to handle maintenance-related issues and upkeep to ensure that our country club building runs smoothly. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HVAC / MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN As a Maintenance Technician, you will execute maintenance and repairs of electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), carpentry, painting, and other building systems and equipment. You complete daily checks of mechanical systems throughout the entire facility and make repairs. You also spend time in our restaurants, troubleshooting and repairing the kitchen equipment. Based on a set schedule, you execute preventative maintenance on HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems. You also handle carpentry tasks as needed. With your go-getter attitude, you see what needs to be done and get it done. You are essential to our success! Required Skills/Abilities: + Working knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC. + Hands-on experience maintaining and repairing commercial kitchen equipment. + Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. + Ability to identify issues and determine repairs that are needed. + Ability to execute preventative maintenance for building systems. + Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software. + Previous private club or hotel experience strongly preferred. Education and Experience: + HVAC Licensing & Certification + High school diploma or equivalent required. + At least three years of maintenance experience is required. Physical Requirements: + Must be able to traverse property and facility to diagnose building issues and complete repairs or maintenance. + Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time.
