**Job Title: Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
Responsible for troubleshooting and repairing all of the equipment onsite, including but not limited to forklifts, welders, overhead cranes, saws, sandblast and paint booths, and facilities maintenance such as changing light bulbs and HVAC systems. The candidate will work from schematics or workbooks as needed to repair equipment. This role involves working with up to 440 Volt motors, with a focus on mechanical breakdowns (90%) and some electrical troubleshooting (10%).
**Responsibilities**
+ Troubleshoot and repair a variety of equipment, including forklifts, welders, overhead cranes, saws, sandblast and paint booths.
+ Perform facilities maintenance such as changing light bulbs and HVAC systems.
+ Work from schematics or workbooks to repair equipment.
+ Handle up to 440 Volt motors with a primary focus on mechanical breakdowns.
+ Troubleshoot electrical issues and coordinate with external electricians for necessary repairs.
+ Implement preventative maintenance schedules and perform necessary maintenance tasks.
**Essential Skills**
+ 1 year of mechanical troubleshooting experience, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and the use of hand tools.
+ 1 year of electrical experience, including working with 110 volt systems, wiring, and conduit.
+ Experience in preventative maintenance.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 1 year of maintenance experience in the RV industry (highly transferable).
+ Experience repairing welders, overhead cranes, and paint booths.

**Work Environment**
The candidate will work alongside one other maintenance technician to support the entire plant. The role involves using various hand tools and working on mechanical and electrical systems. Hours are from 6:00am to 3:00pm, Monday through Friday. The company is very safety-oriented, following OSHA safety practices and standards.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bridgman, Michigan.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
