Maintenance Technician
Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

This position requires the individual to wear and work in personal protective equipment and to lift a minimum of 50 lbs, maneuvering large and cumbersome products and equipment. Most roles require standing for a full shift with breaks. The candidate must have the ability to work in a manufacturing environment where temperatures can vary depending on the weather. A successful candidate must confirm their ability to perform work-related physical tasks by completing a physical abilities test.

ResponsibilitiesEnsure production lines and other equipment are maintained and able to run at all times.Assist in developing and prioritizing work orders with Maintenance Manager, Production Supervision, and Line Leads.Complete work order requests as defined by Maintenance Manager, Productions Management/Supervision, and/or Operators.Support workplace organization programs (6S) and production efficiency programs (TPM).Assist, coach, and train operators in daily preventative maintenance (CIL) checks.Support and assist preventative maintenance processes on the shift.Contribute and assist in line commissioning after maintenance/process events.Assist and participate with other plant projects as needed.Operate in a manner that provides value to the team.Perform additional duties as needed and/or assigned by supervision/management.Essential SkillsProficiency in electrical troubleshooting and maintenance technician tasks.Knowledge of hydraulics, mechanical repair, and pneumatics.Experience in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and PLC troubleshooting.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to support workplace organization programs (6S) and production efficiency programs (TPM).Experience in coaching and training operators in daily preventative maintenance checks.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
