**Job Title: Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing assigned manufacturing-related equipment throughout the facility. This role requires adherence to standard procedures, internal requirements, manufacturer's specifications, and safety policies. The technician performs a wide variety of skilled work across multiple functions and operations within the preventive maintenance system.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform maintenance service and repairs on assigned equipment.
+ Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, replace, and maintain existing mechanical systems and associated equipment, including air compressors, air dryers, dehumidifiers, and cooling towers.
+ Facilitate and accurately follow specific detailed operational instructions and prints for jobs and setup operations.
+ Administer the preventive maintenance system and provide required reports.
+ Determine preventive maintenance requirements for new equipment and educate and train equipment operators to perform routine maintenance.
+ Maintain a safe and effective work area/environment and use appropriate personal protective and safety equipment.
+ Support the Facilities Function as needed.
+ Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
+ Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedules, and additional hours as necessary.
**Essential Skills**
+ Maintenance technician experience
+ Knowledge of hydraulics, mechanical systems, and pneumatics
+ Experience with preventive maintenance, manufacturing, and mechanical systems
+ Electrical repair skills
+ Ability to read and understand schematics
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Ability to perform maintenance service and repairs on assigned equipment

**Work Environment**
The Maintenance Technician will be working in a manufacturing environment. This role may require the use of personal protective and safety equipment and adherence to safety protocols. The position may involve working nights, weekends, and variable schedules.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mcminnville, Oregon.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.
