**Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for keeping food manufacturing lines running smoothly and performing preventive maintenance tasks.
**Responsibilities**
+ Maintain and repair production equipment in a food manufacturing environment.
+ Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal operation of equipment.
+ Utilize hand tools, including wrenches and screwdrivers, to fix and adjust equipment.
+ Collaborate with a team of maintenance technicians to ensure production lines are operational.
**Essential Skills**
+ 3-4 years of maintenance experience in a production environment.
+ Proficiency in mechanical repair and preventive maintenance.
+ Experience with gearbox maintenance.
+ Ability to use hand tools such as wrenches and screwdrivers.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 3-4+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
+ Food and beverage industry experience is a plus but not required.

**Work Environment**
You will be part of a maintenance team of 12 within a plant that has over 100 production workers. The job requires wearing steel-toed boots. The start times are 5 AM or 6 AM for the first shift, and 2 PM or 3 PM for the second shift, depending on the day. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, with 2-3 Saturdays per month. The company is family-owned and has been in operation for over 70 years.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Permanent position based out of Dallas, Texas.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $81120.00/yr.
