Maintenance Technician

$30-$40/hour DOE

2nd Shift

An established local manufacturer in the Sioux City area is hiring a 2nd shift Maintenance Tech to join their growing team. As a Maintenance Tech, you will be accountable for the daily maintenance of equipment, perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.

Responsibilities:

Perform preventive maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems and production machines, as well as troubleshooting malfunctions. Inspect used parts with measuring tools (rules, calipers, micrometers, etc.) to determine dimensional changes. Collect and analyze data and prepare maintenance reports. Minimize downtime Preserves operational flow across work teams by meticulously documenting and disseminating information regarding actions taken, identified irregularities, and continuing requirements. Must be able to work in varying temperatures, with regular exposure to cold, hot and/or humid conditions. Maintains safe and clean working environment Collaborate effectively with employees, vendors and customers, using both spoken and written communication. Adhere to company policies.

 

Requirements:

Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred; OR six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Pay rate $30-$40/hour depending on skills and experience Excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision and life insurance. 401(k). PTO. Employees are eligible for benefits the first of the month following the month of hire.
