Maintenance Technician - Litchfield, MN
The purpose of this position is to maintain or perform PM and repairs of equip, building, and grounds here at Revela Foods – Litchfield, LLC.
Working Relationships: Maintenance Technician will work closely on a day-to-day basis with other Maintenance Technicians, Shift Supervisors/Leads and Production Employees as well as Vendors. The position reports directly to the Plant Manager.
Responsibilities and Duties:Conducting PM’s on all applicable equipment and assure proper documentation of the completion of PM’s. Will conduct the PM’s is a timely manner and perform the PM’s in a correct manner according to Equipment Manuals.Conducting Calibration on all applicable equipment and will be responsible for conducting the calibration of applicable equipment according to past calibrations and equipment spec’. Maintenance Technician will ensure that the calibration is done on time according to the calibrations schedule and will contact the Plant Manager with any equipment failures during the calibration process.The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining spare parts inventory and working with the Plant Manager to organize the spare parts and to keep on hand an acceptable number of spare parts. Also, will give up to date quantities when requested and let the Plant Manager when more parts need to be ordered.Will need to be on an on-call manner unless asked off.Perform tasks and duties efficiently, accurately, and neatly.Work closely with the Shift Supervisor to accomplish maintenance needs.The Maintenance Technician will contact the Plant Manager with any problems or major damage to equipment.Obtain a boilers license. Work to improve license classification when applicable.Perform duties in a manner that will not compromise the Safety / Quality / Integrity / Security of raw materials, packaging components, finished product, and equipment.Alert the Plant Manager of any incident that may impact the Safety / Quality / Integrity / Security of raw materials, packaging components, and finished product.Empowered to act within the scope of their responsibilities to resolve the impact of these issues immediately.Report suspicious activity or unusual observations to the Plant Manager.Follow proper SOP’s, cGMPs, HAACP, Food Safety, Food Defense, Allergen, Food Safety Culture, and company policies.Other duties as assigned by Plant Manager.
