A day in the life of a mechanic:
Has excellent punctuality/attendance recordMaintains a positive attitude with team members and throughout the shiftCommunicates with team members effectivelyFollows all safety, quality and procedural standardsUses computer systems (CMMS) and email as neededDocuments information in a timely and accurate mannerAble to work in 24/7 manufacturing environment, including nights, weekends, scheduled maintenance shutdowns and possibly some holidaysAble to work overtime for vacation coverage and training purposesWork includes, but is not limited to, repair of equipment, routine PMs, troubleshooting complex equipment, reading and interpreting manuals and work orders, maintaining a clean, safe work environment, and active participation in continuous improvement initiatives.Work collaboratively with operators in execution and training of operator PMs; respond to equipment process concernsPrioritize work orders and effectively utilize CMMS to document performance to work orders. Follow protocols for inventory management.Participate in and support the development of Maintenance SOP's.Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; adhere to and promote continuous improvement of workplace safety and quality practices; promote effective team collaboration.Works as a team to support short- and long-term department and facility goalsPerforms other duties as assignedWhat we are looking for:
