SPECIFIC DUTIES:

Inspects, tests and troubleshoots plant equipment. Perform continuous preventive and predictive maintenance on machineryPerforms individual assignments as directed by team leaders and supervisorsAssists other technicians, engineers and departments with line improvements and functionality of equipmentInstallation of electrical, mechanical and fluid power systems in a professional and workman-like mannerResponsible for adhering to and the use of all KAUTEX’S Quality Management System (CMS) Policies, Procedures and DocumentationTroubleshoot pumps, cylinders, valves, gearboxes, and hydraulic/pneumatic equipmentInstalls, troubleshoots and repairs circuit breakers, relays, motor starters, timers, AC/DC control circuits, and voltages from 24 volts DC up to 480-volt 3 phasePerforms preventive and predictive maintenance and inspections to ensure that machines and equipment operate to their inherent capability in accordance with OSHA and local municipality codesOther duties as necessary

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent GEDStrong electrical, pneumatic and mechanical skills as typically evidenced by experience and associate's degree in mechanical or electrical technology or certification in the field of skilled trades and 3-5 years’ experience in related fieldTechnical training as evidenced by certificates, technical degrees or a skilled trades Journeyman’s cardMust have a thorough understanding of National Machine and Mechanical Installation Codes and the ability to read mechanical printsMust be able to use all types of precision measuring tools and meters to perform duties as neededMust be able to pass Mechanical Aptitude and practical test
