Schedule: Tuesday-Friday: 2pm-12:30am

 

Troubleshoot, repair and perform preventative maintenance tasks to manual, semi-automated and fully automated equipment used in the production and support of Clarus products.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Completes work orders, records, logs and other written and computer-based documents according to established procedures.Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using technical documentation such as electrical and mechanical drawings, manuals, etc.Troubleshoot, repair, align, rebuild, calibrate and perform preventative maintenance on Clarus equipment using specialized hand and power tools.Operate material handling equipment to effectively install, remove or relocated equipment and other items as neededMaintain spare parts inventoryCommunicate with maintenance leader equipment issues that cannot be immediately corrected and initiate parts requests.Support facility maintenance tasks as needed to ensure a clean, safe and presentable facility.Provide support and assist with specialized projects.Understand and follow all workplace safety rules, such as safe work practices and standard operating proceduresIn order to achieve business objectives, work weeks in excess of 40 hours may be required5+ years as an industrial mechanical or electrical maintenance technician2-4 years mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience in a manufacturing environment.2 years of experience using CMMS and Microsoft products (Outlook, Word and Excel) requiredTechnical certificate in electrical, electronics or mechanical applications or equivalent education plus experience.Dependable, willing to go the extra mile, and work with a sense of urgencyHigh school diploma/GED requiredMust be able to work off hours including nights and weekends as needed for machine maintenance

 

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This position works In a glass manufacturing plant working on and around manufacturing machines, tools, and ovens.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Must be able to lift 50lbs.
