Take a tour ofChart Cityto get a feel of how Chart equipment solutions impact our daily lives. **Multiple Shifts Available-** 1st: Monday thru Friday- 6am to 3:30pm 2nd: Sunday thru Thursday- 3:30pm to12:30am 3rd: Sunday thru Thursday- 10pm to 6:30am **Differential Pay offered for 2nd and 3rd shifts at +$2.50/hour** **_What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…_** **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:** · Performs daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance on all plant equipment · Performs troubleshooting, problem solving, and countermeasure activities on all production and facility equipment · Performs mechanical maintenance with frequent electrical (480V, 208V, 120V, 24VDC) and controls-related troubleshooting · Dismantles machines or equipment using hand tools or power tools to examine parts for defects and repairs or replaces · Completes daily maintenance paperwork for assigned Work Requests and Checklists · Assists with installing conduit and wiring for new equipment installations · Performs special duties as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor/Manager **REQUIREMENTS - MUST BE ABLE TO DO THE FOLLOWING:** · Thorough understanding of maintenance troubleshooting for electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic manufacturing equipment · Working knowledge of 480 Volt 3 phase power, logic controllers, motor starters and variable frequency drives · Ability to read and follow written instructions · Ability to read and interpret electrical and instrumentation drawings and specifications · Open scheduling availability **_Your Education Should Be…_** High School Diploma or Equivalent Trade or Technical school a plus **_Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…_** **INTERACTION:** · Works with Lead/Supervisor **WORKING CONDITIONS:** · Mostly Outdoor/Shop Environment · Must be able to work outdoor and indoor **REQUIRED PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE) WHILE IN THE SHOPS:** · Safety Glasses · Steel Toe Shoes · Ear Plugs · Gloves (when needed) · Hard Hats (when needed) **PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:** · Walking · Standing · Using hands · Bending · Lifting · Sitting · Climbing **_Your Professional Experience Should Be…_** **Minimum Experience:** 3+ years of electrical maintenance experience 1+ years of experience with manufacturing machine repair, welding machine.
