Maintenance Supervisor

AHF Products has a job opportunity for a Maintenance Supervisor to be located in Crossville, TN.

JOB DUTIES:

Prepare each shift for daily tasks, including scheduling employees in the event of PTO and necessary scheduled changes.   Participate in the hiring process, recognizing and recruiting good candidates, and ensuring that employees are properly trained.   Ensure all employees follow proper procedures and organize workflow.   Communicate effectively with Supervisors company-wide on departmental concerns and responding to plant needs.   Maintain accurate records.   Complete daily and weekly reports.   Order materials and equipment necessary for continuing operation.   Train, oversee, and coach employees, including maintaining time records.   Be a good resource for employees and listening and addressing their concerns and needs.   Train employees on how to safely use machinery and ensure employees are following procedures.   Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards.   Communicate, adhere to, and enforce company policies and procedures.   Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace.   Perform any other duties that may be required or assigned.  Communicate and coordinate with all technical teams.  

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Industrial maintenance degree and/or equivalent experience   2+ years’ manufacturing plant experience   Experience as a multi-craft technician including mechanical, electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, basic machine shop and welding, and electronic control systems   Ability to troubleshoot and repair all equipment in a production environment.   Proficiency in the safe and proper use of all test equipment and all power or hand tools   Knowledge of lubrication types and applications   Ability to create and follow schedules   Organizational skills and willingness to assume accountability for plant/department practices  Strong problem-solving skills   Positive attitude and strong work ethic   Strong verbal and written communication skills   Good interpersonal skills in dealing with employees, management, and vendors   Ability to work in a team environment   Understanding of company-specific computer applications   Must pass a mandatory pre-employment drug test, physical, and criminal background check  

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Frequent climbing, bending, standing, walking at a brisk pace 8+ hours a day, squatting, reaching, pushing and pulling   Frequent lifting 80 pounds, either alone or with the assistance of another employee, in conformity with lifting techniques detailed in safety policies and training materials   Frequent use of dexterity with hands for use of tools   Vision must be sufficient to see tools and equipment clearly   Frequently working at heights

EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

9-hour day includes a one-hour unpaid lunch. Overtime is required as necessary
