Job Purpose and Impact

The Maintenance Supervisor will plan basic routine maintenance on our plant assets and equipment following established program guidelines. In this role, you will develop detailed job plans to improve the work force efficiency and quality by identifying the elements of an executable work package. You will provide general knowledge of consistent maintenance and reliability best practices in the completion of planning and prioritizing basic tasks and providing quality work that supports organizational goals.

Key Accountabilities Oversee a team of maintenance techniciansAssign tasks, monitor performance, and provide training and developmentFoster a positive and collaborative work environmentDevelop and implement preventive-predictive maintenance plansSchedule maintenance activities to minimize downtime and optimize resource utilizationRespond to equipment breakdowns and coordinate emergency repairsDiagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical and automation issuesPerform repairs and modifications to equipment, including PLC programmingCollaborate with engineering teams to implement new equipment and systemsEnsure compliance with safety regulations and industry standardsConduct regular safety inspections and training sessionsInvestigate accidents and implement corrective actionsQualifications Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related fieldHave experience minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a feed mill or grain manufacturingStrong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies

Preferred QualificationsHave technical Expertise or proven experience in industrial automation, electrical systems, and programmable logic controllers (PLC)In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, including AC/DC circuits, motor controls, and power distributionStrong understanding of PLC programming and troubleshooting techniques for various brands and familiarity with SCADA systems and HMI interfaces
