Job Summary:
· Oversee day to day operations of the group in a production environment.
· Authority for personnel action (hire, suspend, promote and discipline employees).
· Trains and ensures safety of team members.
· Monitors schedule to accomplish maintenance goals.
· Exercises independent judgment.
· Directs and coordinates fabrication, installation, operation, application, maintenance and repair of mechanical or electromechanical machines, equipment, tools, engines and systems.
· Ensures that quality levels and industry standards are maintained or improved in the manufacturing process.
· Oversees installation, operation, maintenance and repair of equipment such as centralized heat, gas, water and steam systems.
· Evaluates mechanical products to determine their cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
· May evaluate field installations and recommend design modifications to eliminate malfunctions.
· Input data in KRONOS, TRACS, MS OFFICE and EXCEL and Development skills in additional Computer programs.
· Tracking Budget Expenses, Supervision, Quality Management, Safety Management, Delegation, Performance Management, Organization, Foster Teamwork, Self-Development, Giving Feedback.
Proven experience as supervisor or relevant role.
What You'll Need:
Familiarity with company policies and legal guidelines of the field. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Outstanding organizational and leadership skills. BS/BA in management or relevant discipline will be considered an advantage. Minimum 5+ years Maintenance experience.
