Maintenance Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the processes in maintaining and preserving the efficiency of all equipment, production lines, and/or facilities, resulting in the optimization of technical and financial resources. Each day, you will oversee execution of ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of equipment, production lines, and/or facilities. You will also showcase your expertise by managing and updating technical documentation of equipment, production lines, and/or facilities. The work model for the role is: Onsite #LI-OnsiteGlobal relocation/LTA support will not be considered for this position.This role is contributing to the ABB Electrification Installation Products plant in Guadalupe.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tDefining maintenance plans for new production lines or facilities, and consulting on ways to improve reliability, maintainability, and safety of equipment and/or facilities.•\tSolving major technical, equipment, or facilities problems to achieve higher performance of the production lines.•\tProposing improvement projects for processes and production lines aimed at reducing ordinary and extraordinary maintenance and optimizing operational and energy efficiency.•\tResponding to emergencies, breakdowns, malfunctions, and other operating problems to minimize disruption in the production process.Our team dynamicsYou will join a talented team, where you will be able to thrive.

Qualifications for the role

\tYou have 1+ years of experience in the maintenance area.\tYou have mechanical and electrical knowledge.\tYou have knowledge of electrical safety and in low, medium, and high voltage.\tIf you have PLC programming experience is a plus.\tYou area easy to communicate in English in an intermediate level.\tBachelor’s degree in engineering completed.
