Work Schedule

Monday to Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Primary Role

Responsible for various activities within Field Services to include acting in lead capacity for designated territory, ensuring the completion of leak reporting, R/W easement/river crossings inspections, miles of main line leak surveying, Non Revenue Water reporting, AQS Monitoring/Maintenance is in accordance with Company policies and procedures and all applicable governmental laws and regulations. May include specialized maintenance work on operating equipment and/or ongoing leak detection and/or valve and hydrant inspection program.

 

Key Accountabilities Provide input for preparing and controlling local NRW reporting and maintenance and preventive maintenance on acoustic equipment. Ensure response to leaks meet the required action time, has been reported and addressed to minimize impactful damage or hazards. Advise and/instruct company personnel on proper NRW reporting and maintenance procedures for acoustic equipment and systems. In charge of implementing strategic plans with Distribution/Production/Commercial departments in the reduction non-revenue water (NRW), accounted or unaccounted through DMA’s, acoustic equipment, fire service monitoring, etc. Assist with implementation of standards, targets, policies, and plans to ensure continuing and increasing operational efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability. Ensure that operational integrity (quality, environment, reliability, health, safety, security, etc.) is maintained. Implement effective reporting processes. Provide analysis and support to Distribution/Production/Commercial/ NRW departments and/or Network Manager with information required for various reports, budgets, and business plans. Implement and foster the coaching and development of employees, including idea generation, within respective functional areas.  Contribute to effective communication by listening and providing constructive feedback; support. Knowledge/Skills

Knowledge of the regulated water/wastewater business within the region and the regulations impacting the business as well as applicable regulations, requirements, and trends within water/wastewater business.

Knowledge of company policies and procedures and knowledge of process and operational areas.

Experience/Education

H.S. Diploma or Equivalent. College coursework in business, management, or related technical discipline through class or work experience preferred.

7-10 years’ experience in water/wastewater operations, maintenance operations and performing hands-on specialized maintenance work on acoustical equipment preferred. 

Must have the ability to learn and operate different types of computer applications for specialized leak detection/monitoring software and reporting programs that is pertinent to complete most daily task.
