Maintenance Scheduler-Dispatcher

**Amentum** is seeking a **Maintenance Scheduler - Dispatcher** on **Andros Island, Bahamas** to work both independently and part of a team to accomplish a range of functions in support of the Atlantic Undersea Test & Evaluation Center (AUTEC). The Maintenance Scheduler/Dispatcher position reports to the Work Control Supervisor and is responsible for performing the scheduling of corrective and preventive shop repair orders for the facilities maintenance, utilities and facilities engineering departments. This position receives records and distributes shop repair orders; and dispatches orders to shop technicians via radio communication. **Must be a citizen of the Bahamas.**
**Job Responsibilities:**
+ Uses Maximo software to input customer requests including work descriptions, time estimates, shop assignment and time schedules.
+ Schedules workload for maintenance shops, including planned and emergency orders.
+ Provides shop backlog reports and coordinates with shop leads to reduce backlogs.
+ Communicates with all shop personnel utilizing a controlled over-the-air radio system to coordinate work order assignments and priorities throughout the day.
+ Collects daily completed shop repair orders from Shop Leads and enters completion data into the maintenance scheduling database.
+ Assists Department Supervisor in preparing weekly and monthly scheduled, completion, productivity and shop backlog reports.
+ Acts as a security escort as needed in support of vendor efforts on AUTEC
+ May be assigned to other department tasks as determined by Department Supervisor.
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ One (1) year dispatch, maintenance scheduling or related customer service experience working in a fast-paced environment.
+ High school graduate or GED.
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook applications.
+ Must possess strong customer service skills including telephone etiquettes, problem-solving skills, ability to multitask and be detailed oriented.
+ Must be able to handle fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
+ Knowledge of construction and/or facilities repair trades helpful.
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills.
+ Experience in a multicultural work environment desired.
+ Must be able to sit and input electronic data for long periods of time, and operate a base station radio.
+ **Must be a citizen of the Bahamas**
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Two years’ experience in data entry and windows-based software use.
+ Knowledge of Maximo is preferred.
+ Knowledge of construction and/or facilities repair trades preferred.
