Maintenance Scheduler

Location: IKO Mat Tech, Chester, SC   Department: Maintenance Type: Full Time (FT/PT/Cont) Experience Level: 3-5yrs

WHEN YOU JOIN US YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE TO;

Understand and practice the site IKO 7 Life Critical Program.Be willing to make IKO values those of your own:  Humility, Integrity, Agility, Long-Term thinking, Performance, Knowledge SharingFollow all plant rules and be coachable.Develop a weekly schedule for Maintenance. Organize and optimize the planned maintenance work schedule.Maintain equipment records and work orders in Maximo.Work with Storeroom Coordinator to ensure that all parts required for the jobs have been identified, secured and properly kitted well in advance of work scheduled.Help the supply room coordinator stock any parts back in inventory.Work with the Maintenance Planner to make sure the most valued jobs are prioritized and scheduled correctly.Organize the work orders after a down-day event and verify notes are legible and all time is documented properly, so the work orders can be closed to maintain efficient KPI’s.Assist Maintenance Planner and Sr Storeroom Coordinator in kitting jobs for technician workplans.

Fill in for the Maintenance Planner and/or the Sr Storeroom coordinator during absence

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE;

3-5 years’ experience in the manufacturing industry (preferably continuous manufacturing) is required.Possess a fundamental understanding of the planning and scheduling of maintenance work functions as they apply to predictive, preventive, precision, proactive, and corrective maintenance.Experience as a maintenance technician is preferred but not required.Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.Possess excellent time management and organizational skills.Ability to provide simple and accurate instructions.Knowledge and understanding of the maintenance processes and proper use of the work order system, planning, scheduling and storeroom processes.
