Description
Install, maintain, and repair all furnaces, equipment, and buildings in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and specifications, utilizing knowledge of computer hardware, personal computers (PC’s), software, programmable logic controllers (PLC’s), variable frequency drivers (VFD’s), electronic equipment, electrical equipment, mechanical hardware, piping, and welding. Install, configure and troubleshoot microprocessor-based systems, electronic equipment and power distribution equipment. Provide support to maintenance manager, maintenance department and production department as required.

+ Maintain confidentiality of Paulo’s proprietary and confidential data.
+ Exercise cost effective judgement when pricing and recommending hardware and software purchases.
+ Use computer network system privileges in a responsible manner.
+ Participate in and encourage teamwork and communication with all Paulo office and plant personnel.
+ Learn and develop new skills as needed.
+ Must demonstrate leadership ability.
+ Treat all Paulo equipment, instruments, and tools with care.
+ Perform all duties consistent with safe practices, including wearing safety shoes, safety glasses, etc.
+ Act promptly to insure that equipment malfunctions or safety hazards are corrected.
+ Perform to specified quality standards and in accordance with written instructions.
+ Ensure the implementation and conformance with all systems outlined in the divisional Quality Control Manual and all supporting documentation.
+ Move, install, maintain, and repair all furnaces, electrical, and electronic equipment.
+ Ensure that all electrical work conforms to the National Electrical Code.
+ Perform all duties without direct supervision.
+ Work overtime as necessary to meet customer needs and assure that customer requirements for service are met.
+ Travel to and participate in job-related meetings, conventions, training, etc. Such travel may require overnight stays of one or more nights.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
+ Requires hands on Electrical and Mechanical experience or equivalent education and experience.
+ Completed Motor Control 1&2, PLC logic controls, PLC programming and current computer hardware and be able to troubleshoot effectively.
+ This position requires the general knowledge of current operating equipment and the operation.
+ Two years’ experience in industrial electronics, computers, industrial electrical systems. Temperature uniformity survey training, 3-year experience in an industrial environment.
+ Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen, this includes THC.
License(s)/Certification(s) Required:
+ Must be to obtain a forklift certification.
+ Must have proven ability in temperature uniformity survey.
