Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, WI is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic III to join our team!
The Maintenance Mechanic III performs repairs and maintenance on hospital buildings, equipment and components. Performs regular and preventative maintenance and emergency calls. Serves as a liaison between Aspirus and outside contractors.
HOURS: Full Time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every 2 weeks. Day shift, on call once a month.
Experience/Qualifications
Advanced knowledge of mechanical standards and practices normally acquired through completion of a Technical School diploma or equivalent, andState approved apprenticed Millwright, Machinery Repairman or equivalent.Completion of designated courses at NTC and Healthcare Mechanic Certification as approved by the Maintenance Manager.Five years’ experience in building and equipment maintenance.Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.Possesses a valid Wisconsin Driver’s License required.Strong mechanical skills with the ability to troubleshoot or assist in problem solving all mechanical equipment of the facility.Annual competencies as required by Aspirus and/or various regulatory agencies based on entity and/or job position.Employee Benefits
