Your Role:


Maintains and services mechanical equipment, machinery, and components. Performs skilled repair services of mechanical, equipment, and building systems. Conducts periodic inspections to evaluate requests for repair. Identifies parts needed for replacement and verify orders have been placed as necessary. Completes all work in accordance with established safety procedures. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Deliver improvement on equipment uptime, line efficiency, and increase overall equipment effectiveness in a production environment by condition monitoring, troubleshooting, and assisting in engineering changes.Demonstrate mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and repair equipment while working in a safe manner, following departmental rules and regulations.Develop a good working knowledge of how the processes and systems impact and interact with upstream and downstream equipment.You will assist in the setup and/or changeover of production line equipment.Establish understanding of the critical features and parameters associated with the processes.Responsiveness for quick and accurate evaluation of the root cause of a problem and implement the proper corrective actions to minimize downtime.Accurate documentation the actions taken to repair the equipment.Continuous learning and willingness to build mechanical skills.

 

Who You Are:

 

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED.4+ years of work experience maintaining mechanical equipment.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Certificate or diploma from a technical school, junior college, or apprenticeship in a trade field.1+ years of work experience in a GMP environment.Experience with set-up and operation of a lathe, mill, surface grinder, and drill press.
