(https://twitter.com/BerryGlobalInc) **Responsibilities** Responsibilities include performing a wide variety of tasks associated withmaintainingproduction molding and assembly machinery and auxiliary equipment. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** include the following. Others may be assigned: - Installation,repairand preventive maintenance of all operating equipment, fix equipment and support equipment as assigned - Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and/or program issues with Molding and AMO machines, and all support equipment; performappropriate maintenanceand/or repairs. - Troubleshoot and repair all HVAC equipment, certificationrequired. - Troubleshoot and repair anything else that comes up, even if not listed above (jack of all trades) - Installmachines electrical, plumbing and interface with all other systems. - Read electrical and hydraulic print to perform required maintenance and service - Diagnose issues and provide solutions and ways to improve machines. - Understand PLC and RS Logic to test equipment and/ormake adjustments - Perform daily PM’s andmaintainthe proper paperwork -Comply withsafety regulations andestablishedlean manufacturing principles. - Work with other mechanics,engineeringand manufacturing to continuous operations - Provide general facilities maintenance - Perform other duties as assigned - Follow applicable Food Safety and cGMPpolices. **COMPETENCIES** To perform the job successfully, an individual shoulddemonstratethe followingcompetencies : + Problem Solving -Identifiesand resolves problemsin a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully. + Written Communication - Able to read and interpret written information. + Teamwork - Contributes to building a positive team spirit. + Judgement - Exhibits sound andaccuratejudgment; Supports and explains reasoning for decisions; Includesappropriate peoplein decision-making process. + Planning/Organizing - Uses time efficiently. + Professionalism - Approaches others in a tactful manner; Reacts well under pressure; Treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position; Accepts responsibility for own actions; Follows through on commitments. + Quality -Demonstratesaccuracy and thoroughness; Applies feedback to improve performance;Monitorsown work to ensure quality. + Quantity - Meets productivity standards; Completes work intimelymanner; Strives to increase productivity; Works quickly. + Safety and Security -Observessafety and security procedures; Determinesappropriate actionbeyond guidelines; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly. + Adaptability - Adapts to changes in the work environment; Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events. + Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time. + Dependability - Follows instructions, responds to management direction; Takes responsibility for own actions; Completes tasks on time or notifiesappropriate personwith an alternate plan. + Innovation - Generates suggestions for improving work. **Qualifications** To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. **EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE** + High school diploma or general education degree (GED) + 1-2years experienceworking in maintenance for a manufacturing company + Abilityto read and interpret documents such as safety rules,operatingand maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals + Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructionsfurnishedin written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations **MINIMUM QUALIFICAITONS** + Effective written and oral communication skills + Ability to work with limited supervision + Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and welding is beneficial + Advanced technical training or applied experience with hydraulics, industrial electricity, electronics, and control systems + MIG & TIG welding. + Fabricating skills. + Excellent print reading (schematics) capabilities + Additionaltraining may berequiredtoretainposition **PHYSICAL** **DEMANDS** Thephysical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
