Your Role at KIK

Join our team as a Maintenance Mechanic – Blow Mold, where you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of machinery and equipment. Responsibilities include inspecting, testing and monitoring equipment including hydraulics, blow mold and performing maintenance.  You’ll be a key contributor to the success of our plant.  Bring your expertise and tools to a dynamic environment that values efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement. This position has an hourly rate which is based on experience and skill set. This role offers a competitive pay starting at $30.00 per hour, based on experience and skills. The Shift time is 7:30am – 3:40pm EST, requires overtime as needed. Apply now!

What You’ll Be Doing

Operates machinery that blows mold containers of various sizes and colors.Monitors the quality of bottles and ensures they meet quality control standards and specifications.Suggests changes in working methods and use of equipment to increase the department’s efficiency.Notifies supervisor of any manufacturing problems, as well as analyzing and resolving work problems, or assisting workers in solving problems in a helpful and timely manner.Maintains and enforces all safety rules and regulations and maintains good housekeeping in all related areas.Maintaining blow molding machines, chillers, air compressors, grinders, blenders.Must be able to hang molds and set up to run.Fill in for operators on all shifts when needed.Must be able to trouble shoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, problems

What You’ll Bring

High school diploma or (GED)Blow Mold Machine Maintenance preferred- training will be provided3 years of manufacturing maintenance required Long periods of standing is a requirement of the positionLifting, twisting, carrying up to 60 lbs. is a requirement of the positionWorking in non-temperature and temperature-controlled environments.Possibility of working around high noise levels, depending on locationBe able to wear full face respirator as necessaryMust be able to work in accordance with Heal and Safety and GMP regulations.Must be able to work overtime when necessary.

Physical Requirement: 

Occasionally exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force (up to 1/3 of the time).Frequently applying 10 to 25 pounds of force (from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time).Constantly exerting greater than negligible force, up to 10 pounds (2/3 or more of the time) for moving objects.Must have the ability to perform the following: Climbing, Balancing, Stooping, Kneeling, Crouching, Crawling, Reaching, Handling, Feeling, Seeing, Hearing
