About the role
Under general maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Mechanic performs skilled mechanical work in support of the overall facility operation and in maintaining operation of the process plant and power generation plant in compliance with established production schedules and plant output requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Attends and participates in scheduled training and safety programs. Knows, understands and complies with all company safety regulations and procedures.Performs a wide variety of mechanical, welding, hydraulic and pneumatic repairs, PM’s and fabrication, including pipefitting, rigging, assembly and disassembly of all types of plant operation equipment, conveyors, piping structural reinforced plastic, sheet metal systems, and mobile equipment.Consults with operations and works cooperatively with facility operators, ensuring that facility machinery is being repaired as requested.Report and document equipment inspections.Utilize CMMS system as trained by supervisor.Complete company, facility, and department training requirements.Perform other duties as deemed necessary by the Maintenance Leadership Team.Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a heavy industrial/manufacturing environment.HS diploma or GED or 5 years verifiable experience in maintenance.Must have the ability to work a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift as determined by supervisor.Ability to demonstrate how your actions support Reworld Values and Behaviors, including Safe and Inclusive Workplace, Delivering Results through Trust and Building Breakthrough Capabilities.Shift:
This position works on an 8-hour shift and has on call duties that include nights, weekends and some holidays. Overtime will be required. Shift hours can be extended to 12-hours during plant planned and unplanned outages and for special projects.Physical Demands of the Role:
Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb.Ability to lift/carry 50lbs.Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces.Qualify to wear a full-face respirator. Consistently work in various weather conditionsWhat Reworld Offers You:
