**Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team for the 3rd shift. The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our machinery and equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics, as well as excellent problem-solving skills. **Responsibilities** + Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment. + Diagnose and repair mechanical issues, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems. + Perform emergency troubleshooting and repairs when breakdowns occur. + Replace or repair defective parts using hand tools and machinery. + Test fixed machinery to ensure proper performance. + Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. + Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area. + Document repair and maintenance work for record-keeping purposes. + Recommend improvements or modifications to enhance system performance. **Essential Skills** + Previous experience as a maintenance mechanic or similar role. + Strong understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanics. + Familiarity with using various power and hand tools. + Ability to stand for long hours and lift heavy loads. + Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Degree in engineering or manufacturing is a plus. + A valid driver’s license is preferred. **Why Work Here?** Our company has experienced steady growth over the last 10 years, continuously expanding by purchasing surrounding property.
