Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for our manufacturing/bottling facility to maintain, fix, and improve equipment used in bottling and packaging operations.
Factory Location: Ontario, California
Compensation: $38.50 – $41.49 / hour
Shift differential: 6%-8% of base hourly rate paid for applicable hours worked
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Full-Time
Ability to work holidays and weekends per business needs
Must be able to attend training for up to 12 weeks during the day, start time 5:00 am

Skills Required:
– Plan, lead, and execute preventative maintenance (PM) according to schedule to minimize equipment downtime
– Complete reactive maintenance on production lines to recover from equipment failures by repairing mechanical, electrical, and structural components
– Complete machine tear down/repair and assembly and work on PLCs, VFDs, and electric motors
– Conduct creative problem solving to identify and perform equipment improvements
– Coach operators and peers on basic maintenance concepts and optimal equipment settings
– Participate in special project work on equipment upgrades or installations
– Provide break relief to production operators or team members as needed
– Operate a forklift as needed to complete duties
– Support equipment installations, retrofits and upgrades to include vendors and contractors
– Troubleshoot/ investigate and repair all mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and utility systems including chillers, air compressors etc.
– Weld and Fabricate parts as needed to get the equipment back running
Requirements/Qualifications:
– High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience; additional technical training or certifications desired
– Three or more years of previous maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
– Demonstrated sense of urgency in completing tasks and comfort working in a high-speed production environment
– Strong mechanical and electrical skills; PLC experience desired
– Solid computer skills, including the use of Word, Excel, Outlook
– Experience with CMMS or ERP systems needed, SAP experience preferred
– Ability to work independently or with a team and communicate effectively
– Solid problem solving and decision-making skills with the ability to coach others
– Must have electrical knowledge of single and three phase power including the ability to diagnose and replace electric motors
– Must be able to work and accomplish projects with little to zero supervision
– Must be able to foster and build a team-work environment
– Must be able to do physical inspections, (i.e. climbing, reaching, extending)
– Must be proficient with mechanical drawings and OEM technical prints for parts identification
– Able to lift and pull 50 lbs. as needed while performing work
– Willingness to work holidays and weekends as we are a 24/7 facility operating through most weekends and holidays
– Ability to successfully complete an online skills assessment prior to onsite interview
