We are seeking a **Maintenance Mechanic** to join our **Metairie LA team** . Drives Clean Compliance Standard. + Ensures that work meets compliance standards within facility operation. Ensures that work meets all applicable Health and Safety Standard Operating Procedures. + Travel to other location local on occasion – St. Rose. **What does it take to work here?** + 3-5 years maintenance experience in a plant or Industrial environment preferred + Plant maintenance experience in one or more of the following areas: mechanically inclined/strong troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, pneumatics, installations + Willing and open to continuous learning + Must be able to change directions + Small packaging, canning or bottling maintenance experience a plus! + Hydraulics systems experience + Pumps experience, and centrifugal and diaphragm pumps an asset – + Ability to meet physical demands of the position and lift up to 50lbs, including movements such as lifting, bending, reaching, climbing, and the manipulating and handling of objects + Clean and valid driver’s license **Safety-Kleen Systems,** a Clean Harbors company, has a commitment to excellence deeply rooted in a strong sense of tradition.
