**Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic**
**Job Description**
We are currently recruiting an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic with hands-on experience in mechanical, pneumatics, hydraulics, plumbing, lockout/tagout/tryout, and automated equipment operations. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills and be self-directed, capable of working independently during certain shifts. Training will be provided to perform routine equipment repairs and preventative maintenance.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform assembly and disassembly of mechanical machines and facilities equipment.
+ Conduct technical troubleshooting of equipment failures to determine and solve root causes of malfunctions or poor process results.
+ Perform preventative maintenance on various systems.
+ Configure and repair plumbing and brazing systems.
+ Assist Controls and Automation Technicians with basic electrical, PLC/controls, and automation troubleshooting and repairs.
**Essential Skills**
+ 5+ years professional experience or equivalent technical training in maintenance of pneumatic, electrical, vacuum, or mechanical systems in a manufacturing environment.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
+ Proficiency with maintenance tools and equipment, including multimeters and volt meters.
+ Knowledge of furnace, vacuum systems, and 3-phase electrical systems.
+ Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
+ Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and oral.
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with PLC/electrical/electronics/robotics systems is preferred but not required.
+ Knowledge of arc flash safety is advantageous.
+ Ability to use shop mathematics and understand SAE and Metric measurements.
+ Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing duties.
+ Level II: Minimum of four years work experience in a manufacturing environment as a maintenance mechanic. Technical training or coursework in industrial maintenance or industrial electronics/controls/automation through technical schools can be credited as work experience.
+ Level III: 7+ years of advancing technical experience as a mechanic or electrics/controls/electronics/automation technician in a manufacturing environment. Technical training or coursework in industrial maintenance or industrial electronics/controls/automation through technical schools can be credited as work experience.

**Work Environment**
Work is performed in an industrial manufacturing plant setting. The day shift training schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. The permanent schedule options are graveyard shifts from Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday (five 8-hour shifts) from 9:30 pm to 6:00 am. This is an ITAR compliant facility, and proof of US Citizenship or Permanent Resident status is required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of WILSONVILLE, Oregon.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
