Maintenance Mechanic 3rd Shift
**Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic** **Job Description** The Maintenance Mechanic position is responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and performing mechanical and electrical repairs and adjustments on production and packaging equipment. This includes working with cup machines, inspectors, baggers, pre-expansion machines, conveyors, and molds, as well as performing mold change-overs. The role involves inspecting and disassembling equipment to determine necessary repairs, using technical documents, and performing mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and hydro repairs. Regular equipment evaluations are required to ensure consistent production flow. Additionally, the mechanic will rebuild parts, replace lengths of steam hoses, air and water lines, and provide assistance to other Maintenance Mechanics. Immediate communication with the leadership team is essential when quality standards are not met. **Hard Skills** + At least two years’ experience in maintenance in a manufacturing environment + Strong electrical troubleshooting skills in 24VDC, 120/240/480VAC + Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills + PLC/HMI experience + High speed automation & manufacturing experience **Job Type** This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 480 Hour(s). **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Phoenix, Arizona. **Work Environment** Shift: 6pm-6am (training will be 6am-4pm for 4-6 weeks). Half swamp cooled facility & half A/C controlled. Wear PPE while working, which includes hairnet, hearing protection, and safety glasses with side guards.
