The role
As a Maintenance Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. The Hawk Maintenance Manager will control and manage personnel and resources on behalf of BAE Systems Air pertinent to all Flightline and Rectification activities in support of the Operational Flying requirement for the RAF.
Day-to-day, you’ll have the following responsibilities:
Lead safety engagement, enhancement & accountability in line with the Safety Development Plan, Babcock customer and end user systems/processes within your AoR.(Area Of Responsibility) Demonstrate visible and transparent leadership to generate effective, consistent, and relevant two-way information flow, and improve employee experience in line with the Global People Survey action plan. Ensure coherent maintenance planning/tasking and planning integration with customer led fleet planning, quantifying, and managing variation from agreed resource budgets and service scope within your AoR. Manage workforce against agreed resource levels and role specific qualifications and experience requirements, within your AoR. The overall Safety, Welfare and discipline of all assigned Prime and Sub- Contractor personnel in conjunction with the Management and Supervisory Team, equating to 130 engineering/support staff across multiple departments.
This role is full time and based onsite at RAF Valley.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
