MISSION / SUMMARY:
Directs and controls the activities of the maintenance team functions to ensure that all production and support equipment is maintained at levels which are as efficient and reliable as possible. Ensures that the facility itself is maintained and is a safe work environment.
JOB FUNCTIONS: Job functions include but are not limited to the following.
Instructions: This portion should include Principal Duties and Responsibilities for a position. Include only those current duties and responsibilities that account for 5% or more of the work.
Provide direct supervision, technical direction, administrative management, and leadership in the plant maintenance and engineering areas. Must actively support all plant safety & quality standards: GEMBA, hazard mitigation, safety leadership, plant audits, HACCP, SQF, GMP, food defense and safe implementation of plant down activities. Ensures machines continue to run smoothly, building safe, quality systems to operate efficiently, and the physical condition of the building does not deteriorate. Manage plant-wide maintenance and capital, maximizing asset reliability, uptime, and cost. Manage plant environmental programs to ensure compliance with Federal, State and Local regulations. Coordinate energy management optimization activities. Provide long-range planning for facility and equipment needs including capital and major repairs. Develops, implements, and oversees predictive, preventative, and corrective maintenance programs. Uses other maintenance disciplines in the development and application of reliability engineering, root cause analysis and troubleshooting of equipment and processes. Accountable for maintenance budget & MRO. Coaches and develops training plans for all maintenance technicians. Supervises the Maintenance Supervisor, Planner, Stores Coordinator & Maintenance purchasing functions. Qualify Vendors and Contractors and negotiate terms and conditions. Shares an obligation to protect and strengthen Graphic Packaging International’s good reputation in our relationships with customers, employees, suppliers, competitors, investors, and governmental agencies, and to act consistently with our core values: Integrity, Respect, Accountability, Relationships, and Teamwork.
EDUCATION / KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS:
Four-year degree in Engineering or related field preferred; or closely related work experience required in lieu of degree. A minimum of 10 years’ Maintenance experience preferred including: Computer Maintenance Management Systems (preferably SAP) Robotics, PLC, automation, and machine integration Preventative/Predictive/Precision Maintenance Central Stores Management Reliability Engineering Equipment downtime repair planning & scheduling Proficient with Microsoft Office suite as well as internet research skills. Proven track record of identifying opportunities and the ability to recommend and implement improvements. Budgeting, Negotiating and Project Management skills. Able to lead, motivate and teach maintenance team to improve individual and facility skills. Leader with exceptional communication skills, good organizational skills, and the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization. Previous union & environmental experience a plus.
Pay Range: $109,875.00 - $146,500.00

Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, knowledge, skills, past experience, job duties, geography, and business need, among other things.
Pay Range: $109,875.00 - $146,500.00
