As the **Maintenance Manager** , you will manage the maintenance engineering functions. This could comprise of a combination of professional engineers, technical and administrative staff. The Maintenance Manager’s focus is based on budget accountability, career development of others, medium-term planning. **What You’ll Work On** + Manages teams with focus on policy and strategy implementation and control rather than development. + Short-term operational/tactical responsibilities. + Responsible for the reliable operation of the organization's buildings, facilities, machinery and equipment. + Follows established targets in areas such as equipment, reliability, and service standards. + Works within the overall maintenance budget. + Monitors the cost and effectiveness of activities to optimize resources and prioritize spending. + Makes an effort to minimize time lost due to equipment malfunctions. + Identifies, researches, and prepares recommendations on significant changes that need to be made to resources, procedures, systems, equipment, or technology. You’ll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures. **Required Qualifications** + Associates Degree (± 13 years) + Minimum 4 years related experience **Preferred Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in related field In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
