Maintenance Manager

Job Purpose

Keep the company's equipment and machinery in good condition. Control of department expenses, check that the inventory of parts and spare parts is updated, develop improvement activities to reduce costs and keep the equipment operating, in order to ensure that it complies with internal, customer, corporate and IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 requirements

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Review compliance with preventive and predictive maintenance post-programs on a daily and weekly basis. Establish the goals and objectives of the department

Ensure the effective management of the budget for the purchase of spare parts and tools required to carry out the tasks of the department.

Participate in supplier development activities to ensure the best cost of repairs, training and spare parts. Participate in the selection and purchase of new equipment.

Participate in continuous improvement activities and problem solving focused on product quality.

Comply with and ensure compliance with the work instructions and environmental procedures applicable to the area in order to care for and preserve the environment. Observe and correct areas of opportunity for improvement of the staff in charge Enforce the company's Safety Regulations as well as the procedures applicable to the power shutdown (LOTO), with the intention of preventing unsafe acts and conditions that put personnel at risk. Publicize and enforce the provisions of the Individual and Collective Bargaining Agreements as well as the Internal Regulations in order to maintain order, discipline and harmony in the Company.
