Maintenance Manager

Ocean Spray Cranberries is looking for a Maintenance Manager to join our Plant team! In this role, you will be responsible for managing plant maintenance. You will ensure timely and productive maintenance of plant equipment and systems to maximize possible production time. You will direct maintenance and support staff by assigning work, monitoring maintenance progress, and inspecting repairs. Additionally, you will assist budget planning for maintenance and capital projects and promote plant FSQA initiatives.

A Day in the Life...

• Provide for the timely and proper maintenance of the processing or packaging equipment and/or the physical plant and utilities of the facility on either an emergency or planned basis to minimize production lost time.

• Direct the activities of various skilled employees by assigning work, monitoring those assignments and inspecting the repairs made.

• Participate in the planning and the implementation of capital, extraordinary maintenance and routine maintenance budgets.

• Maintain appropriate relationships to attain the goals of productivity, safety, cost, and quality.

• Support and promote food safety and quality program indicatives within the plant environment.

What We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, administration, facility management or closely related field and 7+ years' experience in related field

• Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems • Knowledge of Preventive and Predictive Maintenance Systems

• Knowledge of fiscal budgeting principles and practices

• Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems

• Ability to lead and manage projects

• Familiarity with food processing and packaging equipment

• Familiarity in drafting and understanding blueprints and schematics

• Strong Organizational skills

• Computer skills (MS Office)

• Supervisory/Management skills with an emphasis on communication and interpersonal skills

• Troubleshooting and ability to roll up sleeves and figure out problems while offering solutions

• Ability to be on-call in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.

Education:

Bachelor's or University Degree (Preferred)
