Maintenance Manager

The Maintenance Manager reports to the Operations Manager. This employee is responsible for prioritizing, assigning, tracking and overseeing all maintenance activity in support of equipment, the facility, and grounds. The Maintenance Manager sits on the safety committee and must create an atmosphere of open communication, responsiveness, and proactive equipment ownership.
This position requires strong leadership and communication skills to work closely with all departments to assign and prioritize maintenance activities. The Maintenance Manager is accountable for the following metrics:
Departmental impact to OEE objectivesPreventative Maintenance compliance and timelinessManagement of critical spare parts and consumablesManage of work orders and repair traceabilitySpecific Responsibilities:
Set departmental Lead and Lag Measurements in alignment with company goalsManage departmental costs and expenditures to meet budgetary goalsPrioritize and assign maintenance activitiesWork with scheduling to perform PM’s efficiently, minimizing downtime and interruptionSource and manage contractors when necessaryUtilize PO system for vendor/contractor activities including part and service purchasesManage all maintenance related W/O activity to closureTroubleshoot, diagnose, and repair all types of production and infrastructure equipmentAdherence to ISO 13485 procedures and company safety procedures
