Salary, based on experience and other qualifications: $20.80 per hour

Position Overview:Under general supervisory direction, is responsible for receiving of items in maintenance department, and ensures that the shipments are inspected, sorted and stored in the maintenance parts room as needed. Need to keep up with invoices to make sure orders are correct. Will monitor shelves to communicate with Purchaser for any low inventory levels in our maintenance department.
Responsibilities:Proficient operation of the BPCS and SAP for receiving tasks for all maintenance and engineering parts.Perform regular analysis to determine most efficient levels of inventory to maintainMaintain accurate spare parts inventory (enter daily parts, restock spare parts and log into the system, print reports, fax orders to MRO vendors, set up system with all current spare parts in stock).Perform monthly audit cycle counts of all spare parts inventory.Evaluate and determine obsolescence (or upgrade needs) of all parts.Assist in generating month-end accounting reports.Assist in maintaining and closing out purchase orders.Maintain all asset spares, working files and archives per Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.Assist in distribution of items that arrive in shipping/ receiving to plant personnel or maintenance personnel.Responsible for shipping out all parts for repair and keeping track of inbound and outbound shipments.Supervision:Maintenance ManagerQualifications/Education/Experience/Skills:At least 5 years previous or similar experience, or 3 years’ experience and High School Diploma or GEDPlant layout/equipment name and industrial parts identification nomenclatureWorking knowledge of BPCS and/or SAP computer software desiredThree years’ experience working in a food maintenance departmentThree years’ experience with computerized inventory systems or six years’ experience with PC or Mainframe base software including word processing and spreadsheetsEEO Statement:
