Overview

Position: Maintenance Foreman

Hire Resolves client is looking for a skilled and experienced Maintenance Foreman to oversee the maintenance activities at the facility in Noodberg, KwaZulu-Natal. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance operations and a proven ability to lead a team of maintenance technicians effectively.

Responsibilities:

Plan and coordinate maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance and repairs. Supervise a team of maintenance technicians and provide guidance and support as needed. Monitor equipment performance and identify areas for improvement. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment. Develop and implement maintenance procedures and protocols. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance. Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting support to resolve maintenance issues. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and minimise downtime. Train and mentor maintenance technicians to improve their skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or training in maintenance-related field preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance operations, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Proven leadership skills and ability to effectively manage a team. Strong technical skills and knowledge of maintenance procedures and protocols. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in maintenance operations. Proficiency in MS Office and maintenance management software. Valid driver’s license.
