Maintenance Engineer

Job Description:

Position Title : Maintenance Electrician

Location : Dungannon

Reporting to : Maintenance Supervisor

Hours of work: 39 hours per week

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this position will be responsible for supporting the production departments in both the Machine Shop and Fabrication Halls.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

· Reactive and planned maintenance on Cranes and Welders.

· Carry out repairs on both electrical and mechanical equipment

· Upkeep of maintenance spare parts

· Report daily on any materials used and work carried out during the shift

· Upkeep of records on CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System).

Qualifications / Experience

· Qualification in an engineering discipline.

· Minimum of 2 years previous maintenance experience gained within a similar high-volume manufacturing environment.

· Good understanding of Electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems

· Computer literate

· Clean driving licence

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

· Self-motivated and high energy with ability to work on own initiative

· Ability to work within a team

· Ability to work overtime at short notice

· Ability to work in an environment that is fluid with constantly changing priorities

· Customer focused

· Action orientated

· Excellent verbal and written skills

· Highest level of integrity, honesty and trust

· Drive for results

· Perseverance
