Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Electrician to join our team at a 5,000,000 square foot GM facility in Roanoke, Indiana. The role involves handling all maintenance tasks within the facility that are not on the production line. You will receive work orders from your supervisor throughout the day and complete them efficiently using an industrial golf cart to navigate the large facility.
ResponsibilitiesAssemble, install, test, and maintain electrical/electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, and fixtures.Service and respond to issues with electrical systems and equipment.Connect wires to motors, fixtures, and other electrical equipment.Replace switches and fuses as necessary.Interpret and work from blueprints and schematics.Essential Skills8+ years of industrial maintenance experience OR possession of a Journeyman's Card.Proficient in electrical troubleshooting.Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.Self-motivated and able to work independently.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
This position is in a union facility with available shifts from 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM, Tuesday through Saturday. The work environment includes using industrial golf carts to navigate the large facility and requires a willingness to work within a unionized setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Roanoke, Indiana.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $36.29 - $36.29/hr.
