**Job Title: Maintenance Electrician**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to perform mechanical and electrical repairs on high-speed corrugating machinery, including printing presses, die cutting, flexogluing, and packaging machines. This role involves preventative maintenance, using blueprints and schematics for troubleshooting, and general building maintenance. The ideal candidate will be adept at using hand and power tools, including volt meters and electrical testing tools, and will be comfortable troubleshooting electrical panels and PLCs.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on high-speed corrugating machinery, including printing presses, die cutting, flexogluing, and packaging machines.
+ Conduct preventative maintenance on machinery, including oiling, lubricating, and greasing parts.
+ Utilize blueprints, diagrams, and schematics to aid in troubleshooting.
+ Use hand and power tools, including volt meters and electrical testing tools, to complete repairs.
+ Perform general building maintenance.
+ Troubleshoot electrical panels and perform electrical installation of machinery.
+ Conduct PLC troubleshooting.
**Work Environment**
The facility is very clean and organized with ample open space. Shifts available are from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, and 10:00 pm to 6:30 am. Although the facility is not temperature-controlled, the maintenance team is required to work overtime, including Saturdays, as needed. Employees must be comfortable wearing PPE, such as hard hats and safety vests.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NA, Illinois.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
