International Paper’s Biglerville, PA Corrugated Box Plant, 136 E. York Street, Biglerville, PA is accepting online applications for a Maintenance Electrician.

Position Details:

Second Shift: 6PM-6AM Schedule is 4 days on, followed by 4 days off Starting Rate: $33.03/hr (plus $0.75 shift differential) Perform a variety of activities to maintain plant equipment and facilities in optimum operating condition including: Scheduled preventative maintenance and emergency/break down reports and maintenance (lubricating, measuring wear, measuring positions, repositioning components, observing operations, vibrations & noise levels) Following all safety rules and practices Referencing equipment manuals and other technical literature Contacting & working with vendors and sub-contractors Accurately using measurement and testing equipment Performing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam system and other repairs and installations as needed Safely operating the boiler Accurately & completely preparing & maintaining maintenance records Troubleshooting & solving problems Maintaining teamwork with other associates Keeping supervision informed of problems & other maintenance situations Performing other maintenance duties, as assigned

Requirements:

Candidates must successfully complete an online Non-Technical General Maintenance Test, an online Technical Electrician Test and an Interview Employment Offers are contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment Health Assessment, Drug Screen and Background Check prior to starting work Ability to read, write and speak English Well-rounded electrical, mechanical & machine shop skills and experience Ability to learn and follow instructions
