Job Title: Maintenance Electrical Engineer II

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrical Engineer II to support the Woodside project based in Perth. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to high-impact energy sector projects while delivering effective maintenance engineering solutions and ensuring compliance with regulatory and client-specific requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesMaintenance Strategy & Optimization
Review and enhance maintenance strategies to align with performance and regulatory standards.
Develop and manage CMMS maintenance master data for improved asset reliability and performance.
Material & Spare Parts Management
Identify critical spares and maintain accurate records to support operational readiness.
Audit and catalogue project-specific materials in CMMS systems (e.g., SAP, Maximo, JDE) according to client specifications.
Documentation & Compliance
Prepare and regularly update maintenance work instructions (PRT/MWI) for equipment upkeep.
Ensure full compliance with statutory obligations for Major Hazard Facilities.
Manage inspection programs covering static equipment, piping, and pressure vessels.
Technical Support & Continuous Improvement
Lead and support operations and maintenance teams, promoting communication on safety, productivity, and cost improvements.
Conduct RCA, FMECA, and RCM analysis to address recurring issues and implement improvement initiatives.
Engineering Support
Review technical specifications and drawings, propose design enhancements, and resolve any discrepancies.
Participate in peer reviews and provide technical advice across engineering functions.
RequirementsEducation & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (required).
Postgraduate qualifications in engineering, management, or project management (desirable).
Technical Skills & Experience
Minimum of 5 years’ hands-on experience in maintenance and reliability engineering, preferably in the oil & gas or related sectors.
Strong understanding of maintenance strategy development, PMO, and reliability management.
Advanced user of CMMS platforms, particularly SAP (Maximo or JDE also considered).
Familiar with master data concepts and maintenance builds.
Experience with supply chain operations and spare parts management.
Exposure to Python or R programming is a plus, but not mandatory.
