Long Term Healthcare is looking for a Full Time Maintenance Director to work in our Long Term Care Facilities in the Boston MA. In this role, your priority is the safety and comfort of our patients and residents as you complete a variety of tasks to maintain the building and grounds in a clean, safe, and orderly condition along with a pleasing appearance. Job Requirements: • Make minor repairs on handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, geri-chairs, electrical equipment, sprinkler systems, generators, emergency lighting, fire alarms, and extinguishers, change filters on HVAC equipement, carries, lifts and stocks supplies • Take care of the tools and equipment • Check maintenance logs daily for all Life Safety, regulatory, and daily tasks • Remain on-call, when assigned for 24 hours a day • Must have knowledge of general maintenance and functions of all equipment • Management experience in Long Term Care Nursing Home preferred. • Performs other duties as assigned Hours: • Full Time Benefits: • Competitive rates based on experience • Referral Bonus Program • Medical/Dental/Vision • Paid Sick/Vacation/PTO/Holidays • Ongoing education with training programs • EAP (Employee Assistance Program) • Employee Recognition Events ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for Preventative Maintenance program and ensures compliance according to local, state and federal regulations. Maintains all facility equipment in a safe and functioning manner. Maintains furnishings and grounds, plumbing and electrical fixtures Responsible for fire safety Participates in Quality Improvement and Department Head meetings Oversees the Housekeeping and Laundry Departments.
