Maintenance Coordinator

Position Summary:

Responsible for the supervision and general upkeep of the WestCare facilities assigned including all minor repairs—electrical, plumbing and carpentry repairs, grounds, etc. Responsible for the purchase of supplies needed for general maintenance of the facilities.

 

Essential Job Functions:

 

Responsible for the supervision and general upkeep of facilities including all minor repairs. Supervise and perform minor electrical, plumbing and carpentry repairs. Supervise and perform general painting jobs. Supervise and maintain heating and air conditioning units to the best of his/her ability. Prepare purchase requests for all supplies needed to accomplish general maintenance of the facilities. Communicate with the Renovations Director as to all minor and major repair needs of the facilities. Care for and maintain all equipment purchased by the agency to be used by the Maintenance Department. Maintain a continuous written log of all repair jobs completed. Participation in Quality Improvement activities in an ongoing basis. Provides general oversight of Village South and Guidance/Care Center  maintenance needs Collaborates effectively with leadership team to identify maintenance needs for facilities assigned. Embrace and embody the mission, vision, guiding principles, clinical vision and goals of WestCare Foundation Completes all orientation and mandated training activities, including E-Learning Courses, within required timeframes, and in accordance with the criteria established for this position. Perform any other duties as assigned.
